1. Purpose:

The purpose of this policy is to establish guidelines and expectations for employees who are authorized to work remotely. It aims to ensure consistent practices and maintain productivity while offering flexibility.

  1. Scope:

This policy applies to all employees of CARTZ Link who have been granted permission to work from a location outside the company’s premises, either temporarily or regularly.

  1. Eligibility:

a. Remote work is not a right but a benefit that may be granted based on department needs.

b. Only If:

a. Employees face a medical emergency that prevents them from coming to the office.

b. and some of his office work requires immediate attention, which no one else can handle from the office.

THEN they may be granted permission to work from home.

c. Permission for remote work must be requested from:

a. First from their Line Manager.

b. Then HR and CEO must be informed by email at least two hours before the shift’s start time by the employee himself.

c. Management will reserve the right to approve work from home or not.

d. The current company offers permanent work-from-home opportunities to female staff only till further notice.

      4. Work Expectations:

a. Employees must be available during standard working hours, i.e., 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, unless otherwise agreed upon.

b. Remote workers must respond promptly to messages, calls, and meeting requests.

c. Daily tasks and deliverables must be submitted on time.

      5. Tools & Access:

a. The company will provide access to required platforms (email, project tools, etc.).

b. Employees are responsible for maintaining a reliable internet connection and a safe work environment.

c. Confidential data must be handled in accordance with the company’s data protection policy.

      6. Communication:

a. Employees must check in daily with their Line Manager on a designated platform.

b. All virtual meetings must be attended punctually and professionally.

      7. Performance Monitoring:

a. Performance will be monitored through deliverables, KPIs, and feedback from team leaders.

b. Any consistent drop in performance or communication may lead to the revocation of remote work rights.

      8. Termination of Remote Work Privilege:

The company reserves the right to suspend or revoke the remote work option at any time if:

a. Work quality drops.

b. Communication lapses occur.

c. Policy violations are reported.

     9. Policy Review:

This policy will be reviewed annually or as needed to ensure its relevance and effectiveness.
