Purpose
This policy aims to establish guidelines for repairs and fuel adjustments by the Company to ensure the safe and efficient operation of its bikes when used for Company purposes. This policy applies to all employees who use their bikes for business or personal purposes.
Scope
This policy covers the following aspects:
1. Monthly maintenance and repair of bikes.
2. Guidelines for fuel adjustment and reimbursement.
a. Bike Maintenance and Repair:
i) Rs. 1200/- per month for oil changes and motorcycle tuning will be paid by the company to its employees who are working outside the company.
ii) For employees who do primarily outdoor work, if their bike needs major work, such as an engine ceased or ring/piston work, the company will also have that work done.
iii) Employees who don’t receive compensation from the company for the maintenance of their bikes. If they need financial support for their bike maintenance, the company will also provide them with loans at their convenience.
b. Guidelines for fuel adjustment and reimbursement
i) All employees who are already receiving charges from the company for their bikes on a monthly basis will be reimbursed by the company at the rate of 8/- per km towards their fuel when working outside the company.
ii) All employees who go out on their bikes for company work and do not charge the company for repairing the bike will be paid by the company at the bykea rate.
